..i used to make excuses for someone very close to me - because i believed in them so passionately. This would have been one of those excuses. It took some time for me to realize that all those justifications of poor behavior weren’t going to magically pile together one day form the relationship or person i had wanted - and all they did was form a fictional character based on a real person - in my head.
